This may be my standing favorite juice blend. It had a refreshing combination of two of my favorite fruits, so that may explain it.
Not only does this juice taste delicious but it has great nutritional benefits:
Fresh pineapple works within the body to boost immunity and aid in proper digestion with the enzyme bromelain which is present in the juice. It is also full of antioxidants, minerals, and its vitamin C content helps promote healthy skin and preserve eye health. Pineapple’s enzyme bromelain can interact with certain medications like blood thinners, antibiotics, antidepressants, and anticonvulsants so take caution if you are on these medications.
Strawberry juice also contains high contents of vitamin C which make it a great addition when trying to naturally boost immunity. It also works to regulate high blood pressure. The vitamin C content can also be counted on to assist with skin repair.
Turmeric works wonders to reduce inflammation in the body and black pepper included in this mixture helps to activate the turmeric’s medicinal properties.
Ingredients:
1 whole pineapple – peeled and cubed
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon turmeric
Quart of strawberries
2 cups of spinach
Yield: 4 ½ cups of juice
